The role and purpose of the Carers Voice Partnership Board, is to bring together Carers, commissioners, senior officers, service providers and elected councillors in a Norfolk & Waveney wide strategic forum, to provide system leadership on support to unpaid Carers, promoting independence and resilience, co-developing solutions to issues important to Carers and the people they care for.
The Aims and Objectives of the Partnership Board are to effect strategic change through system-wide leadership. To communicate strategically with general and targeted audiences to raise awareness, promote the welfare, voice and the needs of Carers. To ensure Carers are involved in the continuous cycle of development, design, monitoring and evaluation of services that affect them and the person they care for. To co-produce an All-Age Carers Strategy for Norfolk and Waveney in conjunction with Carers and Commissioners. To ensure that the principles of the All Age
Carers Strategy for Norfolk & Waveney are translated into realistic services that will address identified need.
The Partnership Board meet quarterly, however additional meetings will be called as necessary. The Chief Officer of Carers Voice Norfolk & Waveney organise and chair the meetings. Agenda topics from Carers are encouraged.
